I have this connection problem with a few games. For me,the problem is because i use mobile hotspot. there are 4 types of connection compatibility. if you have a strict connection,like i me.That means you can connect only with players having the same strict NAT.

Hey bro, i had this problem too, if u updated from UniversalUpdater, there is a file missed, so u have to reinstall Nimbus from the Github, then u have to activate the plugin in Nimbus with the button Y each time u want to play ACNL online. Hope it helpss
