does anyone have good advice on how to draw with the gamepad? My hands always accidentally touch the touch screen and i can't draw well with my hands in the air :{

its an art not many can master :sob:
If you use a taller stylus than the one included with the gamepad you can draw much easily, i use the dsi xl big fat stylus, you can find them very cheap online, or use any tall pointy but not sharp thingy to draw
Try a glass screen protector, it will make the game pad harder to draw on being less sensitive to touch but you can adapt to it and will help cancel out your hand mistakes.
