guys i need help: why, in the level editor, i can't change the mario theme besides the mario bros (from the NES) and mario wii u?

The SMB3 and SMW themes are unlockables. You didn't unlocked yet.
Try just scribbling on the editor for a few minutes. You'll unlock course elements faster that way.
