У меня была такая проблема. К сожалению оригинальный стилус по этой причине потерял. Купил новый на AliExpress, подошел отлично. Проблема решена.

i opened mine up and put some capton tape like halfway into the hole so it works now

I tried pulling out the retainer thingy but it snapped and flew right into my face. :'DDDDD I'm glad I have a different stylus, but it's not the same...

The stylus doesn't click in anymore because the nub on the back of the stylus has worn down from repeated use. If you put a little dot of super glue on the nub and let it dry, it should click into the slot again!

You can just put tape in the styles hole and it wont fall out ever again or two pices of tape.
