Splatoon 1 is the only splatoon game that controls well. Splatoon 2 & 3 are just unmanageable for me. The controls feel too slippery, no matter the sensitivity, and with or without the grip.

Agree! also the power ups don't feel as satisfying to use like on the first Splatoon
I disagree with this but i for sure get what you're saying. Splatoon 1 & 3 feel similar to me but i will admit Splatoon 2 feels wonky to me and the only reasons to go back to that game are the stages and Octo Expansion.
not agree, for me all the games feels the same. Is not like Smash Bros.
