swith user? : sonic mania plus or sonic x shadow generations. wii u user? : sonic lost world(idk of sonic unleashed is on wii u but if it is, i strongly recommend) wii user? : sonic colors. 3ds user? : sonic generations. ds/dsi user? : sonic rush. gamecube user? : sonic heroes.

If you are on 3DS i would recommend Generations, if your on Wii U i would say Lost World, or on Wii, Unleashed. Generations is peak modern Sonic.
