It was announced for a while now in the blog inside the website. right now the Puyo Puyo Tetris game server is being worked on. here's a screenshot of it. (both rankings are from my 3DS and Wii U. its still in development. but you can test it right now if you are a supporter)

oh and as an extra. it is compatible with crossplay between both Wii U and 3DS Players. Puzzle League should support it out of the box if there's no further issues.
