not really, though they do have advantages if you're prepared to get hands dirty and solder them in yourself. the mid ground would be a flashcard as they can be used like any game cartridge, plus you can have a game library outsude the sd card.

while not necessary, a usb c mod ngl would be nice to have

all u can really do is get a capture card. but please tell me if there are any other hardmods
