¿Yal iv been playing sonic 2 3d recenty an in the settings I noticed their is a option to change the emulation from megadrive 1 to megadrive 2 and im wondering what the difference is exactly?, and which one I should chose.

The Megadrive 2 had a different soundchip, resulting on music and sounds sounding very slightly different
