i play 3ds its still fun
The 3DS version is really good. Thing is, in the Wii U, has like better graphics, a lot of stages, a lot of controller compatibility, and most of all, the 3DS can't share screenshots in this Miiverse yet. BTW, Smash Run is the one thing the 3DS version did better than Wii U's.
