i heard that this was good so i got it. because theres no online anymore, what am i missing on and does it change the game play? also, whats a good team thing (i forget what it is) that i should chose?

mostly co-op missions for some minor rewards, otherwise minimal impact on the game unless you wanted to 100%, iirc.
The online part was very superficial. You can find a "quality of life" mod (for sdcafiine) that makes all online content available as offline missions.
