my opinion: if you already have a switch, you could attempt to mod it, but it may require soldering skills if it's a newer model. if that's not what you want, you could sell it all, buy & mod a Wii U and you'll be able to run a good chunk of the switch's library anyway.

i happen to own a near-launch switch so i was able to mod mine. it was pretty tedious to get it set up to avoid nintendo's wrath, but it works. now, i only get exclusives for my Wii U. anything ported to the switch is on my switch.

Save up for a Wii U in some other way.

If you have a V1 Switch, definitely don't do that. You can easily mod it

Keep the switch and try to get a wii u with other revenue sources

I recommend you to keep them both... If you need the money, then choose to sell the Switch as you can get more money for it and it's always going to be easier to et another one (probably cheaper in the future when Switch 2 get launched, Wii U may be getting more expensive then).
