Yeah I do have a Hynix chip Wii U but could it really be related to that? I thought it only caused issues when booting the console and not when in-game.

Yes. Your Hynix chip is causing the issue, I also had such problem with my logs and some installed games, so you might wanna look into it. My recommendation is to check if you can set up either rednand or usbmlc alongside ISFXHAX, check gbatemp for that

Although first check logs lol. Might just be a bad install or a one off maybe, have someone check it who knows what they're doing
