guys i messed up... i bought a HDD instead of an SSD and it doesn't even get enough power to work with my Wii U :( this sucks... it was oversized and expensive too.....

hi. you can still connect it to tge wii u, you just need a 1 usb to 2 usb cable, one head for the power and one for the data
can you get a "y-cable"? it helps with power hungry devices

If your not a fan of Y cables or drawing extra power out of the USB 2nd slot another option is to get a HDD with its own power source.
i would get a y cable but it's twice as big and slower than ssd so i'll just try to turn this around...
