i dont think so. pretendo revives the wii u and 3ds family servers. i think u need to get wiilink24 on the vwii (rc24 merged with wiilink24)

Its not Pretendo it's called Wiimmifi it revives all online games and Riiconnect24 revives channels like News and Forecast and Wii Mail. I have it on vwii itworks great!!
