can someone please tell me what the goal of the game is? im stuck at the part where i turn back into link and i dont know what to do :(

Inside of the clock tower, next to the Happy Mask Salesman, there is a stone, you can crawl inside of it, and it will guide you. As far as I'm aware, after turning into Link, you have to go south to exit the town, and still head south to the swamp
