I'd get New 2DS XL, despite it not having 3D functionality I feel like its the best model, but if you want 3d get new 3ds XL
New 3DS / 2DS series for the better processing. XL version if you can find one for the bigger screen. The XL ones can be more costly so only go for one of them if its in your budget.
Generally, i'd recommend the New Nintendo 3DS (new 3ds XL (LL in Japan) if your hands are big)

No, because they're overpriced, and I don't know if I should spend €200 on a New just for Animal Crossing. Maybe, a 2DS, but I'm not keen on that either.
