bc it had few games when it launched, and had no 3rd party games bc it was difficult programming two screens displaying two different things, and obviously, the goffy cringe commercials, compare the switch commercials between the wii u one's, wii u looks like it was made for kids

now most gamers are realizing what they ignored and lost...

Imo this was Nintendo's fault, The way they made the marketing for the console, like "Just look for the U on the box". This also applies to the 3rd party support, there was not much because there was no reason to do because of the poor sales.

But in my opnion the Wii U is still a great console with great games and so much potential.
