if you launch gytb then badge arcade, you will lose them. my recommendation is to backup the folder 000014d1 on your sd card which is located at Nintendo 3DS/id0/id1/extdata/00000000. copy that folder to somewhere safe, like a cloud backup service.

after backing those up, then you can mess around with your badges, such as running gytb. DO NOT LOSE ACCESS TO THE BACKUP! to restore the badges, just put the 000014d1 folder at the same place you found it.

make sure to backup your other 000014d1 folder, and label that folder as your ''non legit'' badges. (make sure to rename the folder before using it with your 3ds) try to stay organized by labeling your legit and non legit folder.

if you are still confused, then ask on reddit, or use google. but whatever you do, please backup your 000014d1 folder and badges folder (the folder titled 'badges' at the root of the sd card)
