Id say try to find a white one, a lot of them are pretty dirty, so if you cant find a good priced clean one then a black Wii U is also fine. Note: You can get a Japanese Wii U for less than a U.S. or European one, but if you want to change the language, its a bit complicated.

Yeah, the black ones are really clean and only like $20 more. Although a white one would pair nicely with my white OLED Switch...

Also in terms of storage, try to get an HDD with a y-splitter cable

I already have intentions of modding mine so Language wouldn't be an issue. I'm more concered about reliability of shipping from Japan.
