From 3DS is as simple as using the Rosalina menu. Press L+↓+Select and press “take screenshot”. It'll be on a folder on your SD card. You can access it from your laptop using a FTP!
if your on wii u you need to have screenshot plugin installed dpad right and tv is the default button combination
i save them by going to miiverse making a post and clicking the image button
