if wii u users can take screenshots of wii u mii maker why not 3ds?

Ironic since this is related to a post I made yesterday but instead I brought up the home menu lol, But yeah it is kinda weird if you ask me...
hold l button, down on the d pad, and the select button simultaneously then select ¨take screenshop¨. it will be saved on the sd card as a BMP file
