The Switch has no personality, it's gimmick is basic and could work ANYWHERE, and it's eshop is laggy and barren. The wii u actually has a vibe, it's gimmick is a good idea that actually feels unique, and it's eshop was full of personality and was easy to use.

The switch has a better library... and a lot of it is wii u games ported. Would you rather play Pikmin 3 or 3 Deluxe? Pikmin 3 Wii U's Charge mechanic didn't make every enemy encounter ”press X to win” Cuz you could get punished for spamming it?

I made my Wii U Menu into a switch to fit in :p I like the wii u because its FREE online

To add onto this, the Wii U has Virtual Console, near perfect backwards compat with the GameCube (unofficially) and Wii, a functioning web browser for most stuff, a comfortable first party controller as well as the online support being better than the next gen.

Replies proving my point that people have to mod their Wii Us to even compete with a Switch, also the emulation quality with most virtual console games objectively sucked, and the online services were only free because Nintendo wasn't earning much money at the time
