i was in a similar boat. got rejected and never thought anyone would want to date me. one day, though, someone new came into my life and she needed a friend she could trust so i was there for her and only a couple of weeks into our friendship we confessed. dont give up hope.
been in that same boat before, the last thing you wanna do is give up hope or let it get to you. a few months back i let it consume me, and i ended up in a far darker place. focus on yourself for a bit, find some good people to surrond yourself with, and know it'll get better
