what were the raids like? i played it when the servers were up and i dont remember it being a online heavy game

No raids. You had to complete "squad tasks" to unlock multiplayer missions for the current 45 min rotation. Only 4 players max. Most of the time, you'd try to join an open mission, only to find out somebody completed it solo, and the mission is now gone.

Squad missions were short too. Usually over within 20 seconds. So most players would only bother with Nemesis missions, because it's faster for farming materials. The Lifeline and Enhancement Mod makes the online missions available in single player, just use that.
