This is because you added them to your new console by restoring it. but they will have to readd you cus your new 3ds Friend code is different and hasn't been added to their 3DS yet so @Shine ask your friends to add your new 3DS's friend code. ;)

alright. ty!! ^O^ havent copyed the xx.bin to the new system yet, (its still in gmode9/out on first system) ima ask my sis to do it tomorrow hopefully. (she has been buzy and so i havent asked yet)
kinda sucks tho, that even after eventually copying and restoring it, ill still have to re-add everyone.. *sigh* i might as well not even bother copying it to my new console..? ether way im still re-adding everyone, correct?
yeah you can readd everyone I not sure what happened but ether way it should've worked. If done right but readd-ing everyone in your case may be easier
