To be honest, it'll take 4 or more puyos to be popped in every Puyo Pop game, specifically Kirby's Avalanche and Robotnik Mean Bean Machine.
Assuming that the puyo's way of popping puyo's is by matching with itself, and given that the playfield is 6x12, 71 other puyos can be popped by a puyo if a puyo could pop puyos!
