SUPER COOL AWESOME ZELDA FACT: In both this game and majoras mask, fairies are the diegetic reason for Z-targeting. Navi's line about not being able to help link fight ganondorf was referring to you not being able to Z-target him because of the "waves of darkness" he was emitting
