i miss physical cartridges so much but my wallet isnt too fond of them... i have to resort either to modding or everdrives for my older consoles

You just gotta know where to look, set your price range, and stick to it. I reccomend garage sales, game stores in small towns, and seach alerts. I got a legit copy of Pokemon Crystal for 16$ and Yellow for 20$.

Search alerts are your friend. The copy of Yellow was from eBay. Also, don't worry too much about the condition of cartrages. Save batteries can be replaced, labels can be reprinted, dirty contacts can be cleaned with isopropyl.
