i have a fear of minecraft slimes anytime i see one I usually run away or I leave the world, ruining the game for me. Even when I use a different texture pack to change the look of them, it sadly still dosent help. Any ideas on how to overcome it?

are the sounds the problem? also fyi, small slimes can't damage you at all + die in one hit
change the slime.fsb sound to a sound effect you actually like Convert your audio to fsb using cracko298's CAT tool (Combined Audio Tool)
play on peaceful
