I have good news! I've found a 126 GB card laying around and formatted to FAT32, transferred the files, and it worked! I wont have to worry with storage for a long time from now on!

how are boot/load times? i heard those get longer with bigger SD cards
I have an 256 gb sd with an old 3DS, it took 30 second to boot up eveey time...
About the booting times: so far I didnt notice anything, things run as smooth as they used to be in my old SD card (32 GB), which is a good thing.
