Definitely! I bought one 1 month ago and it's so amazing what you can do with it! If modded, it can run almost every Nintendo consoles released up to the Wii U!
it's an absolutely GREAT idea
Think about it: you get Wii + a Wii U, so a Wii U is only half the price it is. Its the definitive virtual console machine too.
