I don't mind much the NSMB series as the other people do tbh. They are pretty much just a generic Mario platformer for you to have on each Nintendo console. Saying that cuz I bought my 3DS with just NSMB2 game included (excluding the system games), and it was very fun.

But I can understand them too, like, Super Mario World was very different of Super Mario Bros. 3, while the New Super Mario Bros. series has lots of re-used stuff from previous games. It was about time for them to start developing something big like Wonder.
