Update inkay and reset boss tasks, then restart. if you then get 101-0502, The servers are overloaded.
i had that error code too i just went to the launcher thing and did something about boss tasks and reset the wii u until wara wara plaza worked, then went into splatoon, and if squid sisters didnt announce the stages, i reset the wii u and usually it worked after that
