If you stay awake after 23:00 you are basically killing yourself.

@KateTheLast_ I have another piece of advice for getting your 3DS to update. Turn off loading external firms and modules when attempting to update. It can block updates when the pretendo and netpass modules are active. once your on 11.17.0-50U you can turn it back on.

Just hold select on boot and then turn the setting load external firms and modules off, update in 3ds settings then reboot and hold select again and turn it back on for pretendo and netpass. I figured this out when I first attempted to update my 3DS myself.
