Planning on doing a nuzlocke on pokemon heart gold soon but I want to replace my starter with a Piplup because its my favorite starter pokemon and can't decide if I should or not. Thoughts?

piplup is a very cool pokemon! im playing platinum rn and i didnt choose piplup just bc i wanted a gyarados.. so i picked turtwig (very cool pokemon too!!!)
