I mean...Splatoon 1 is almost 10 years old at this point. It was like this even before the official servers went offline. Plus this wasn't a balanced game to begin with. All I can say is git gud squiddo.

I've been playing on Pretendo for a week and have seen a surprising amount of new players that aren't smurfs. Ranked is a nightmare though with it matching all ranks together, but at least that means I don't have to worry about my own rank that much.
