...myself. a happy trans woman, almost two years on estrogen. i was told to feel shame for who i was, treated like i betrayed everyone who i cared about. i learned that the people who truly love me, won't see my happiness as a ''sin''
in case u all are wondering, while i recognize miiverse is a strange place to discuss my religious background, it seems to have become a place filled to the brim with religous talks, so i will use it for mine, unless a rule comes around banning this subject.
its very sad that christianity was forced upon you, but god does not care whether you are trans or gay or straight. god loves everyone. your ex-parents used god to oppress you, and i see that you dont want to come back because of the trauma, but you can come back to christianity.
... a better way. im not saying you cant be an atheist if it makes you happy. im saying that He accepts you no matter if you are straight or LGBTQIA+.

I hope there is no rule against religious talks, cuz i am all for free speech I believe in God, but I also believe that faith shouldn't be used to opress people, after what your parents done, no wonder you left, your parents clearly don't know true God, a God who loves...
