probably would have to pay to play online eventually, more titles and possibly a new wii console like a wii 3 someday

i feel like we would have gotten an animal crossing game for wii u, a new 3d mario game maybe odysey in 2016 instead, splatoon 2 for wii u, tons of new DLC and virtual consoles too

Miiverse could have been active longer, and maybe carried over to future consoles if the Wii U sold more. But no, Nintendo saw the console failure as if everything to do with it (menu music, Miiverse, Wacky button layouts, etc.) as failures too

Mario Kart 8 would definitely be associated with the Wii U exclusively; same goes for every single other game re-released as 'Deluxe'. Something like Mario Kart World would then probably release much earlier.
