Sometimes yes. The thing about movie discs are that they are always available in your home, so even when you don't have Internet and can't access streaming, you can turn to a good ol' DVD or Blu-Ray.

yep! my family has a large dvd collection that my mom is very proud of, and dvds give me good nostalgia lol

Same, built up an insane cd library burning cds and now all I do is stream. At least if we go into a nuclear winter with no wifi I'll have stuff to watch in my bunker.

If I want to watch a movie, and I have the DVD for it, then sure, I'll pop it in. but mostly I just use streaming services.
