I thought that phrase was only used to describe PlayStation 4 systems! Well anyway, it's because you bought an Xbox 360 Slim, and although their fans are quiet, the disc drive has to work overtime.

I have a fat xbox 360 though... I can barely hear my game over the drive

its really normal unfortunately, I've had the 3 models and all have their kind of loud disk drive

My brothers xbox 360 is what i used to *somewhat* learn guitar on a game called rocksmith 2014. Only problem was the xbox was dusty as hell so i was barely able to hear my music. Dont even get me started on games like metal gear and final fantasy, they turn the thing into a jet.
