I'm pretty sure I managed to fall into the Decalburg Fountain as a kid. I think I fell under Decalburg and got a game over.

Oh yeah this is like unused behavior specific to this game. if in ANYWAY you somehow go out of bounds in this game. mario does a falling animation and soon after you get a game over. Its REALLY odd how this was programmed in as somekind of failsafe???
