please help i just got mario 3d world and every time it gets stuck on the splash screen. do i need a new disc? other games work fine

had this issue back in 2018 with my copy too. yep, you need a new disc or a disc resurfacing place near you. it sucks man, it happened 3 times in a row each time I returned it to gamestop. atleast you get to hear the extended version of the splash screen music
new disk i had one but i bought is on eshop so its useless
