Does the super mario maker work on the 3ds version of pretendo? Cant seem to get the servers to show community levels on my end client

i tried it on my 3ds and it shows the levels but it wont play it
The 3DS servers sometimes work and sometimes doesnt (if you get error 001-0502 you know its not working) if it doesnt work just wait until it works again. Yeah I dont have another solution for that :(
