Line 264 once ran as far as The Shop At Montebello until June 2003 when it was rerouted to Duarte replacing Line 188. Line 264 was cancelledon June 27, 2021, as Metro/LACMTA was restructuring its network for the 2nd phase for NextGen Bus Plan.

New Metro Micro covers portions of Line 264 north of Serria Madre Villa Station. Service on Duarte Road is provided by Arcadia Transit Blue Route between Santa Antia and Baldwin avenues. Metro A Line also covers portions of Line 264 between Myrtle and Highland avenues.
