art school/higher education is a good way to further your skills, but sometimes it's not meant to be or not feasible. There's a lot you can learn on your own, but some things are learned a lot easier with a class. It depends on what you're working towards to find the next path
All that said, there's no rule against trying again later in life if you feel art school is what you want to pursue. Never rush into it, I was pressured into college after high school by my family [american btw so im still facing consequences] Make your own choices out there bro
