I opine that it had a larger and more magnitudinal scale compared to the first instalment. However, it contemporaneously lacked the depth of the first because it did not leave enough time to develop its characters. This was evident in Bowser's relationship with Bowser Jr.

I liked it, I would give it a 7/10. Not mind-blowingly good, but a good time nonetheless. I think that it's nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. True, it is made for fans, and that means people who aren't into Mario won't understand a whole lot, but I liked it!
