Is 79 the highest level we can reach in this game ? (if yes, then i finished it a year ago)

I'm pretty sure that the max level is 99, But idk haven't played this game that much.
i caught 719 out of 719 pokemon, but i need 1 left to pass lvl 80. that's weird.
Yea 79 is the max because Hoopa never got patched into the game.
