just modded and installed linux on an old chromebook and decided to use it to watch pokemon in bed. randomly 5 minutes in it jumpscares me with a sound i can only describe as the wii crash beep but 10x louder. i am now wide awake and scared

i think it happened because i pushed it too far. installing a modern os on a 11 year old laptop with 4 gigs of ram wasnt a good idea in hindsight lmao. i'll try a more lightweight one instead
try something older like windpws 95

95 is waaaaay too old, even for that its ancient. it ran zorin surprisinly well but it just doesnt agree with the audio. something lighter will do the trick
