seems some games having streetpass on is causing issues, in my case it was animal crossing someone else theorizes that it may be an issue with how much data is transferred with affected games

btw you can turn off streetpass functionality for any game by going to system settings ⇒ data management ⇒ streetpass settings again, how i did it with animal crossing after i booted that up after a long time
